도리(道理)

① 『정당한 이치』 reason (사리); right (바른길); propriety (타당); truth (진리); justice (정의); principle (원리).

② 『의무』 a duty; obligation.

③ 『방도』 a way; a method; an alter-native (대안); 『수단』 a measure; a means.

 

 

다스리다

① (a) 『통치하다』 rule (over) (권력으로); reign (over) (군림하여); govern (조직을 통하여). (b) 『관리하다』 manage; arrange; regulate; administer.

② 『통제하다』 control; keep under control; regulate 「rivers」.

③ 『평정하다』 pacify; quell; subdue; repress.

④ 『병을』 cure; heal.

⑤ 『죄를』punish.

 

 

 

닦다

① 『윤내다』 polish; give 「a thing」 a polish [a rub-up]; rub up 「silver spoon」; burnish 「metal」; shine 「one’s shoes」; grind (렌즈를).
