54. 단군조선 천자문-물, water, 水

 

This letter is "Water ".

 

The letter is very special and important.

 

At first

I thought "४" was a [ㅁ,m] sound.

 

Going on studying , I realized the original form of a [ㅁ,m] sound

was not "४" but "ㅁ" through 첨수도(尖首刀: Korean old sharp-pointed money).

 

 

 

 

In 첨수도(尖首刀: Korean old sharp-pointed money), I got "ㅁ" was

the [ㅁ,m] sound.

 

Please look at the transforming letters from 첨수도(尖首刀) to

태양도전(太陽刀錢, Sun-Money).

 

Symbolizing Water , my forefathers made "ㅁ" into "४".

 

"४" is a waterdrop.

 

So prodigious.

 

And two curved lines are emblematic of a watercourse.
