I'll tell you about the connection of Ancient Korean pictograph 상형문자(象形文字) Alphabet and 훈민정음해례본(訓民正音解例本, Hangeul-Examples-Textbook).

 

 

훈민정음해례본(訓民正音解例本, Hangeul-Examples-Textbook) is

the explanation-Textbook written by 정인지(鄭麟趾, Jeong In-ji)

in obedience to a royal command-Great King Sejong in 1446.

 

 

Here we can find many words , for example ,

달(moon, 月),별(star, 星) etc. about nature,

감( persimmon, 柿), 배 (pear , 梨) about a fruit ,

활( bow, 弓), 칼(sword , 刀) about arms,

입( mouth , 口), 손(hand, 手) , 발( foot , 足) about a body.

톱( saw, 鋸), 호미( weeding hoe , 鉏), 키(winnow. 箕)

about farm [agricultural] implements [appliances]; farming tools,

납(원숭이, monkey, 猿), 거북이( turtle , 龜), 제비( swallow, 燕)

etc. about animal,

잣( a nut pine; a Korean white pine, 海松), 싣나무(단풍나무, maple)

etc. about plant.

 

밥(boiled [cooked] rice, 食), 죽( (粥)

(rice-)gruel (묽은)) ,

콩( 豆 soybean ; a pea (완두)) etc. about food

and corn 「영」(cereals, grain).

 

 

 

 

오행(五行)-금(金)·목(木)·수(水)·화(火)·토(土)

<<the Five Elements; the five primary substance (i.e. metal, wood, water, fire, earth)>>.

 

 

 

This words are a clue about Ancient Korean pictograph 상형문자(象形文字) Alphabet .

Joseon-Tongbo) in 1423.

The [해, hae]解 sound of 해례解例 is a same "[해,hae]sun" sound.

This [해, hae]解 sound means "흐, [해,hae]sun".

 

 

This is a real History.
