I'll tell you about a real history with 흐 sign.

My theory is a real heart.

 

Our old country 조선(朝鮮,Joseon) respected "Sun, 해, 태양(太陽) or 일(日)".

So maybe 단군조선(檀君朝鮮, Dangoon-Joseon, or 고조선(古朝鮮),Go-Joseon) )symbolized( emblematize ; stand as a symbol 「for」; be emblematic 「of 」)

 this "흐" -"Sun, 해, 태양(太陽) or 일(日)".

All signs are a kind of "해" -"Sun, 해, 태양(太陽) or 일(日)".

And almost all the people misunderstood it.

From the oracle characters to the seal characters ,

"日" and "月" of all "明" characters have small point and line in  O and D.

 

 

 

 

So "흐" is not "明" character.
